Obituary & Life History

Philip N. Moos BORDENTOWN - Philip N. Moos, 64, of Bordentown died Thursday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Moorestown, Mr. Moos was a central New Jersey resident all of his life. He was a computer analyst with the State of New Jersey, Dept. of the Treasury in Trenton. A past president of the NJ Association of the Deaf and an active member of the National Association of the Deaf, he served on the advisory boards of TRS and the Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf. He was a board member of Signs of Sobriety and was creator and operator of the US/NJL/Deaf Times e-mail newsletter. Mr. Moos served for over 40 years as a dedicated volunteer to numerous organizations within the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Son of the late William H. and Alice Nicol Moos, he is survived by his daughter, Kristina A. Moos of Mauldin, SC; his sister, Holly Moos Roth of Columbia, MD and his niece, Yvonne Moskal. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Moos' memory to: KPSEF, P.O.
